The Analyst will assist in conducting financial analysis, performing due diligence on potential investments and executing investment opportunities, both in private and public markets.

Responsibilities

a.Financial Analysis and Research

  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including management interviews, industry analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis including building discounted cashflow models and conducting comparable company analysis.
  • Work closely with Legal and Risk departments to identify and assess risks associated with potential transactions.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports for management approval.
  • Support in all aspects of deal execution, including coordination between Legal, Finance, Operating subsidiaries and/or Project teams.

b. Portfolio Management Support

  • Monitor public listed companies in JCorp’s portfolio.
  • Assist in portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions across public and private market investments.

c. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or a related field such as statistics, quantitative or behavioural science and / or professional courses such as CFA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a financial analyst role
