A leading company is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial analysis, cash management, and statutory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, qualifications such as ACCA, and experience in banking operations. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, ensuring support in performance planning and compliance with financial regulations.
Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Job Description:
Provide financial analysis to assist in performance planning and management / commercial decision making.
Cash and banking management for business, including (1) Daily cashflow monitoring, (2) Cash and banking accounting including receipting and bank reconciliation, (3) Prepare weekly cash forecasting, (4) Identify any cash gap and mitigate any cash exposure, (5) Understanding Foreign Exchange Policy (“FEP”) update and its impact, and (6) Balance sheet assurance for Accounts Receivable.
Month / Quarter / Year End close reporting, including (1) Actual margin review and analysis, (2) Month / YE adjustments related to sales and purchase, (3) 3 months forecast preparation, (4) EBITDA analysis and monthly template submission to BU, (5) MBR pack, and (6) BSA assurance process.
Preparation of Annual Budgeting Exercise and review.
Statutory Reporting – Support Finance Manager in the preparation of statutory financial reports and annual filing in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Qualified ACCA with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience, or equivalent Bachelors’ degree or designation with practical financial accounts experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a cash and banking operation and AR Collections environment or related role.
The role requires a sound technical accounting knowledge and strong understanding of the IFRS rules, to be capable of applying the understanding and knowledge in daily posting and reporting activities.
The jobholder will also be required to have well developed PC skills, and expert knowledge of SAP.
