about the job

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with the regional Finance Department to prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts.

  • Assist in the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.

  • Use financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the local and regional teams, supporting decision-making to drive business growth and profitability.

  • Collaborate across departments to identify and implement process improvements, such as streamlining financial reporting and developing financial controls.

  • Follow directions from the regional Finance Department regarding financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, and provide regular progress updates.

  • Ensure consistency in financial reporting and analysis across the organization in collaboration with the regional Finance Department.

  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, including tax and reporting requirements.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including auditors and tax advisors.

  • Support the regional and local Finance or Business Management departments on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Studies, or equivalent.

  • At least 4 years of experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) role and/or accounting.

  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience working in a global organization and familiarity with international accounting standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) or cosmetics is preferred.
