Job summary

Protege Fund Services in Malaysia is seeking a Financial Statement Accountant for a full-time role. You will prepare unaudited financial statements for client accounts, coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely delivery of reports.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting/finance and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. The firm offers a competitive monthly salary and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Drafting and preparation of unaudited financial statements for financial firms.
• Experience in audit or accounting, preferably in the financial industry.
• CPA, ACCA, or other relevant certification is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, and minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant field.

This is a full-time role located in Malaysia. The Financial Statement Accountant will be responsible for preparation of financial statement for client accounts, including financial accounting, and liaising with auditors. The role involves actively participating in the preparation of client financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
