Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage full set accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure timely month-end closings. You will reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and oversee A/R processes including invoicing and collections.

The role requires a accounting degree, at least 2 years' experience, and familiarity with E-Invoice and retail POS systems. Based in Parit Buntar, you will liaise with auditors and management on ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications

• Possess Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in retail and fresh mart industry is a plus.
• Able to handle full set accounts and comply with standards.
• Knowledge of E-Invoice and familiarity with retail POS systems.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Possess Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related professional qualification
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting field
• Experience in retail and fresh mart industry will be an added advantage
• Able to handle full set accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Knowledge in E-Invoice implementation and familiarity with retail POS systems and cloud accounting software
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes, Accounts Payable (A/P) payments, bank reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Responsible, committed, and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
