Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage a full set of accounts with month-end closing and to produce monthly revenue projection reports. The role involves AR and AP, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports, along with invoicing and client communications.

You will work with Excel and various accounting software, demonstrating strong attention to detail and independent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts with month-end closing.
• Produce monthly revenue projection reports.
• Manage Accounts Receivable transactions, reconciliation and client follow-up.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accounting records.
• Prepare and analyze revenue, costs and expenses.
• Manage invoicing, official receipts, credit notes and debit notes.
• Communicate with clients about accounts, payments and invoices.
• Draft clear, professional emails and follow-ups to clients.
• Utilize Excel and accounting software for daily tasks.

• To handle a full set of Accounts with month-end closing and to produce monthly revenue projection reports.
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Able to handle Accounts Receivable transactions, reconciliation, and follow-up with clients.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliation and accounting records.
• Experience in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports is an added advantage.
• Able to prepare and analyze revenue, costs, and expenses.
• Good knowledge of invoicing, official receipts, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Able to communicate and engage professionally with clients regarding accounts, payments, invoices, and other related matters.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills, especially in professional email correspondence.
• Able to prepare clear and professional emails, follow-ups, and client communications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software/systems.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willing to perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.
• Candidates who are able to reliably commute to or relocate to Ipoh are preferred.
