Job summary

EY is seeking a Finance Consultant to drive Finance of Tomorrow across client projects in Malaysia. You will shape finance visions, design end-to-end operating models, and implement governance with a focus on digital enablement and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics.
• 2 years of recent relevant work experience in a leading business consulting organization or accounting organization; or 4 years of functional finance experience in any industry.
• Experience delivering projects with elements of customer experience or digital tools.
• Experience implementing Finance function initiatives in processes improvement/ERP or intelligent automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Plan: Establish Finance vision, strategy and operating model that are customer-centric and digital enabled to support enterprise aspirations and goals.
• Design and Implement: Design and implement finance delivery model and governance across end-to-end processes, policies and control requirements, incorporating emerging automation.
• Transition and Stabilize: Manage training, knowledge transfer, cut-over strategy and pre-Go-Live readiness.
• Optimize: Identify opportunities to improve Finance operations through technology and emerging tools.
• Project Management: Support project delivery on time, budget and quality; manage client stakeholders.
• Business Development: Assist in preparing proposals to support the client.
