Job summary

Swiss Re is currently seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to support a major decommissioning of an existing sub-ledger and transition to a new system landscape. You will ensure data integrity, assist in report redevelopment, and coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure timely project delivery.

The role also encompasses BAU finance operations, including quarterly close, reporting, audits, and process improvements in a global reinsurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, reporting, finance operations, systems implementation, or transformation projects.
• Experience with financial data, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with finance systems and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting testing, system migrations, or process improvement initiatives is advantageous.
• Exposure to insurance, reinsurance, banking, or financial services environments.
• Experience with ERP, finance sub-ledger, reporting, or data transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Decommission and transform the sub-ledger and support migration to the new system landscape.
• Perform reconciliations between legacy and target systems to ensure data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Validate balances, transactions, reports, and key data sets during migration.
• Support redesign and rebuilding of reports in the new system environment and validate requirements.
• Assist in UAT, system testing, and data validation activities.
• Track testing outcomes, document issues, and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
• Develop governance and documentation for new processes and controls.
