About the role

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Finance Supervisor to join our team at DEWAVE TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the finance team, ensuring efficient financial processes and procedures are in place
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Handle daily bookkeeping, invoicing, payment processing, and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial records
  • Supervise and process payroll, including statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings, SST, and other statutory requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a finance supervisory or management role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Xero) and MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills

Working Conditions

  • Working Days: 5 days a week, Monday - Friday
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
