Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for overall tax management, including tax incentive applications, return filing, SST, withholding tax, transfer pricing, tax estimates, and e-invoicing implementation, with knowledge of Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) regulations.
  2. Oversee daily accounting operations by reviewing expense claims and invoices, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with relevant standards.
  3. Manage cash and banking activities such as online payments, receipt confirmations, bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate reflection of cash flow movements.
  4. Support financial analysis and budgeting by tracking key business indicators like revenue and cost, assisting in monthly and annual budgeting, and analyzing variances with actionable insights.
  5. Coordinate with external parties including tax agents, auditors, company secretary, and government authorities to support smooth audit and tax processes, especially during year-end closing.
  6. Perform other duties and special assignments as required by management.

Requirements:

  1. A Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Taxation, or Financial Management.
  2. 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting and tax management in medium or large manufacturing companies, preferably with Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW).
  3. Strong financial knowledge with hands-on experience in SAP Finance module and proficiency in Excel and other office software.
  4. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, with good communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Detail-oriented, responsible, and ethical, with solid analytical and decision-making abilities.
