  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably 2+ years.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial projections.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Oversee daily accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, files, and documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist with risk management activities to safeguard the company’s assets.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage budgets.
  • Monitor departmental spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize company operations.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage the company’s cash flow by forecasting and monitoring cash needs.
  • Oversee cash management functions to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
  • Track and manage financial transactions and ensure they align with budget expectations.
  • Financial Strategy:
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies and goals to align with overall business objectives.
  • Assist in making key financial decisions related to investments, funding, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial personnel and provide guidance on financial matters.
