Job summary

Christine’s Bakery is seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to lead budgeting and rolling forecasts for all departments, including Central Kitchen and restaurant outlets. The role requires building robust financial models to assess performance, pricing, and marketing impact.

You will conduct market research, monitor COGS and labor, and collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to optimize expansion and operations. Strong analytical skills and BI tooling are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analyst role in retail/F&B.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic or related fields.
• ACCA or FPA certification is highly advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for expansion activities.
• Familiarity in Business Analytics / Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, ERP software & POS System data structure.
• Good in market analysis and strategic thinking capabilities beyond numbers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Budgeting for all Departments, Central Kitchen and Restaurants.
• Develop and update monthly and quarterly rolling financial forecast reflecting company Profit and Loss.
• Build robust financial models to evaluate restaurants financial and performance, Central Kitchen sustainability, menu pricing and marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and demographic studies to optimize expansion strategy and identifying opportunity and risk.
• Monitoring restaurant COGS to aligned with company targets.
• Evaluate restaurant Labor to optimise store scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain) to ensure smooth and efficient outlet operation.
• Act a Cross Function team partner in validating promotions, marketing initiatives and menu development.
• Prepare and present monthly Management reports, KPI's scorecard, and progress updates to the Management.
• Oversee and monitor company cashflow for fund allocation and distribution.
