Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with IFRS.
  • Perform intercompany posting of invoices.
  • Assist in preparing work instruction guides for relevant work functions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments, analysis, projects, and reporting.
  • Support the production of yearly budgets and revenue forecasts.
  • Support monthly accounting close and financial reporting processes for P&L and balance sheets.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret monthly financial results.
  • Collaborate with the team to build the yearly operating plan and manage the annual financial planning process.
  • Monitor daily cash collections.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Manage the operational strategic workforce plan for the A/R operations team, including forecasting and analyzing growth trends.
  • Provide quarterly updates to business partners on performance and hiring recommendations.
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly cash collections in partnership with Treasury.
  • Generate results metrics and presentations monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Build and manage the Long Range Plan in conjunction with the Financial Reporting Lead.
  • Leverage analytics integrations to deliver finance insights.
  • Maintain data quality and validity within the data universe.
  • Provide key BI support and ad hoc analysis to help business leaders understand their operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in budget preparation.
  • Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions.
  • Prepare balance sheets.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of organizational products and processes.
  • Provide customer service to clients.
  • Resolve financial disputes raised by customer service and sales teams.
  • Serve as a key contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters.
  • Support the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
