About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to manage accounts, financial reporting, and cost efficiency. The role includes handling tax, audit, and providing insights to support business growth. Experience with Xero and strong analytical skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable, including vendor payments, payroll, SST, and tax payments.

Maintain accurate balance sheets and monthly accounts; prepare accounts for audit.

Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports.

Improve cost efficiency by controlling overheads, optimizing resource allocation, managing software licenses, and negotiating with vendors.

Coordinate effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Provide weekly insights on sales performance and gross margin analysis to the management team.

Support new business development initiatives and investor reporting with actionable financial insights.

What would you need?

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proficient in financial planning tools and accounting software such as SQL Accounting, QuickBooks; experience with Xero is a strong advantage.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Experience in tax, audit, and accounting within a software company is preferred.

  • Fluency in English and Malaysian citizenship required.
