Job summary

Haleon, a leading consumer health company, invites applications for a Planning & Forecast Analyst based in Petaling Jaya. You will support planning and forecasting for the market, including annual and monthly forecasts, and prepare monthly management reports for the market FD.

You will build and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and provide insightful commentary to improve P&L and cash flow performance. This role suits a detail-oriented FP&A professional with FMCG context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, IT.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar operating model and e-commerce.
• Experience in FP&A/FBP and FMCG preferred.
• Strong commercial sense and business knowledge.
• Expertise in creating or extracting information from/to Excel with advanced formulas.
• Proficient in financial analysis, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working across a matrix environment and strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly forecast (CMF), Annual Business Planning (ABP), Standards Setting (FLIP) and ad-hoc tasks.
• Prepare monthly Sales, CoGs, A&P, OPEX (P&L) and Cash Flow forecasts.
• Create, update and maintain financial models for monthly and quarterly forecasts (CCC).
• Perform variance analysis to explain performance and inform improvements.
• Provide variance commentaries for P&L and balance sheet vs Actuals, ABP, LY and prior forecast.
• Submit CMF and ABP into BISON and manage annual cost Flip process.
• Prepare internal management reports (e.g. MPR) for executive leadership.

About The Role

This Planning & Forecast Analyst role is to provide planning & forecasting support to either the Planning & Forecasting Lead or in-market FD. This includes managing the preparation of in-market annual and monthly forecasts. Alongside, preparing monthly management reports for the in-market FD to evaluate performance.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide support to the market with the preparation of the monthly forecast (CMF), Annual Business Planning (ABP), Standards Setting (FLIP) and ad-hoc tasks.
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly Sales, CoGs, A&P, OPEX (overall P&L) and Cash Flow forecast.
• Accountable for creating, updating and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market (CCC process).
• Perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
• Providing commentaries on variances for P&L and BS lines, vs Actuals, ABP, LY and prior forecast.
• Submission of CMF and ABP into BISON and owner of the annual cost Flip process.
• Preparation of internal management reports (e.g. MPR) for executive leadership.

• Expertise in creating or extracting information from /to excel and use of advanced formulas.
• Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in Financial Planning/Budgeting/FP&A/ FBP, preferably in FMCG
• Strong commercial sense and business knowledge.
• Expertise in creating or extracting information from /to excel and use of advanced formulas.
• Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
