Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an analytical FP&A professional to join as an Individual Contributor at our Malacca site. You will bridge operational strategies with financial insights to support business decisions and drive performance.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, deliver dashboards and reports, and collaborate with finance, operations, and supply chain to optimize costs and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or MNC environments is advantageous.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes for the site/business unit.
• Perform variance analysis (Actuals vs. Forecast/Budget) to evaluate trends and drivers.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, dashboards, and actionable recommendations to leadership.

• Drive continuous improvements in financial modeling, forecasting processes, and reporting systems.

About the Job

We are seeking a driven and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Professional to join our team as an Individual Contributor. In this role, you will play a key part in bridging operational strategies with financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes for the site/business unit.
• Perform variance analysis (Actuals vs. Forecast/Budget) to evaluate performance trends and operational drivers.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, management dashboards, and actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across finance, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial modeling, forecasting processes, and reporting systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields (professional certifications like CPA/ACCA/CIMA are a plus).
• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A); relevant experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or MNC environments is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and corporate ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills.

About the Manager / Team

You will report directly to an experienced FP&A Manager based in the United States, serving as the primary FP&A lead on the ground in Malacca. You will work within a supportive global finance organization while operating with high autonomy locally.
