Job Description

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of cash, position, and transaction data across custodian, fund administrator, and internal records.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely manner, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with middle office, fund accounting, and external counterparties to ensure data alignment and proper exception management.
  • Assist in the month-end close process by preparing reconciliation summaries and supporting documentation.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by maintaining proper records and responding to information requests.
  • Work closely with technology teams to enhance reconciliation tools and automation workflows.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within an investment or asset management firm.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and investment accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with reconciliation tools or investment systems (e.g., BlackRock Aladdin, Eagle, Geneva) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams and external partners.
