Job summary

Sime Darby Property is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support financial operations, including management and statutory reporting. The role covers full sets of accounts, month-end closing, and monthly reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The candidate will assist in budgeting, cash management, and liaise with auditors and tax agents, handling ad-hoc duties as required. Experience in retail mall industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MICPA).
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support financial operations including management and statutory reporting.
• Assist in full set of accounts and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and budget analyses.
• Assist in cash management and bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents; ensure compliance.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.
