Job description

Finance Officer/Executive/Senior Executive

Issue invoices for port agency services and related charges to vessel owners or charterers.

Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain customer account records.

Prepare AR aging reports and ensure timely collections.

Liaise with principals to resolve invoicing discrepancies or payment delays.

Support month-end closings and internal reporting.

Disbursement Account (DA) Management:

Monitor all cost components during vessel port calls (e.g., pilotage, towage, stevedoring, bunkers).

Collect, verify, and file all vendor invoices related to the vessel call.

Coordinate with operations to ensure completeness and accuracy of port cost documentation.

Prepare and submit Pro Forma DA and Final DA to principals according to agreed timelines.

Ensure DA submissions comply with company policies, contracts, and principal requirements.

Maintain detailed and organized records of all port call disbursements for audit and client review.

Support audits and resolve any post-port call cost disputes.
