Job description

We are a Singapore-based company seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our finance team remotely from Malaysia. You will play a key role in supporting our day-to-day finance operations, including billing, credit control, bookkeeping, and payment processing. This role reports directly to our Finance Manager in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
• Monitor accounts receivable, perform credit control, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with bookkeeping, including recording transactions and maintaining proper documentation.
• Support the payment process, including preparation of payment batches and reconciliation.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders where needed to ensure smooth finance operations.
• Maintain up-to-date records and support monthly closing activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen residing in Malaysia.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting functions.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
