Job Description

1. Financial System Management & Reporting: Design, implement, and enhance accounting systems to generate accurate financial information, and prepare/review monthly financial reports for various entities, providing insights for strategic decisions.
2. Compliance & Internal Controls: Guarantee that all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures adhere to Financial Reporting Standards, verifying financial documents and ensuring overall compliance.
3. Financial Operations & Cash Flow: Control and manage end-to-end financial processes, including collections, payments, monthly close activities, balance sheet reconciliation, credit control, cost tabulation, cash flow management, and intercompany balances.
4. Taxation & External Relations: Oversee all tax matters, licenses, and fees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
5. Team Leadership & Ad-hoc Support: Supervise and mentor the accounting team to foster high performance, and undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge is needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in Tebrau, Johor.
