Job Responsibilities:
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
Prepare annual budget, business plan, profit and cash flow forecasts to facilitate the tracking and monitoring of finance performance and results.
Prepare full set of accounts, financial statements, along with all billing, payment and expense claims. Ensure timely preparation of group consolidation, financial reports, foreign currency accounting, analyze and report variances to facilitate management decision making.
Oversee financial document submissions, ensuring timely delivery of bank statement, payroll report, invoices, and supporting documents.
Ensure timely completion of annual audits, tax submissions, statutory payments, including taxes, and other regulatory obligations, working with internal and external accountants to ensure compliance.
Lead liaison efforts with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring timely completion of tax filings, compliance with local statutory requirements, and alignment with accounting standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business objectives within Malaysia and across other regions.
Perform special/ad-hoc projects assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven track record as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior financial role.
Proven leadership experience, including team coaching, development, and building high-performance cultures.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, logical thinking, teamwork ability, patience and execution capabilities.
Proficient in Mandarin and English for effective communication with stakeholders.
