Job summary

Sinergia Talents in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager (Pharma Manufacturing) to lead financial shared services, strengthen controls, and drive accurate reporting across Malaysia with regional support. You will report to the CEO, manage a small finance team, ensure IFRS compliance, and optimise cash management with banks and regulators to enhance shareholder value.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong numerical acumen, stakeholder management and the ability to implement process

Responsibilities

• Maintain and automate financial data and reporting processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with financial legislation, IFRS and corporate policies.

Job Description

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for all financial shared services i.e. Financial Accounting,Controlling and Reporting, Payables, Receivables etc.
• Maximize shareholder value where possible by highlighting areas ofimprovements and cost cutting
• Manage accounting and finance systems by maintain full and accurate data andautomate process by continuously reviewing them on regular intervals.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statement and reports forefficient decision making.
• Ensure compliance with financial legislation (Employment Standards, Tax Laws,Corporate Laws, IFRS, etc.) policies and procedures.
• Maintain/enhance relationships with foreign as well as local banks to ensurethat the business benefits in terms of the best rates on cash placements andtrade finance and achieves efficiency through implementing appropriate cashmanagement products.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as external auditors,financial, corporate & regulatory bodies, legal & taxation authorities, and otherbusiness associates.
• Reporting to the CEO and covering Malaysia (mostly) with regional support forthe Philippines and occasional communication with international HQ (to bedisclosed upon interview arrangement)
