Job summary

Always Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager across four legal entities within the Group. You will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end closing, and group consolidation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW/MICPA preferred, at least four years’ experience, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to coach the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or MICPA is highly preferred
• Minimum 4 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
• Experience managing multiple legal entities and group reporting
• Familiarity with MPERS, Companies Act 2016, SST and e-Invoicing
• Experience in distribution, trading, marketing services, FMCG, retail, or project-based environments is an advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarterly, and year-end close, including journal review and consolidation
• Oversee AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Tax, and intercompany transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage statutory, tax, and regulatory matters including audits, SST, e-Invoicing and liaise with auditors and authorities
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities including forecasting and timely supplier payments
