Finance Manager (Construction)

A well-established construction company in Johor Bahru is looking for a career-minded finance manager to be part of their team. You will report directly to the Managing Director in this role.

Main Responsibilities of the Finance Manager

1. Oversee group-level adjustments and reconciliations
2. Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
3. Perform detailed analysis of consolidated financial results, highlighting key trends and variances
4. Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation and reporting processes
5. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on financial performance

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
• Experience in financial reporting
• Experience in dealing with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers
• Ability to work independently and have a keen eye for detail
• Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage
