About Our Client

Job Description

  • Financial Accounting & Control: Oversee all financial and costing records, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of monthly and yearly closing accounts. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor budget variations and prepare monthly Budget Operations & Review reports. Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts. Compile budget proposals and monitor their progress.
  • Office Administration & Payroll: Manage the smooth operation of office administration, equipment, and payroll departments, including management and other staff.
  • Financial & Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with government departments (IRB, EPF, Socso, etc.). Oversee income tax submissions, tax incentives, and anti-dumping information. Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
  • Leadership & Support: Supervise consolidation of accounts for group companies. Assist the Senior Manager - Finance in absence. Oversee special assignments and capital expenditure project evaluations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong project finance and accounting knowledge
  • Experience in financial analysis, project audits, and controls.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures
