Finance Manager (Group Consolidation Reporting)

With more than 30 years of experience within the field of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, specializing in Process Control Instrumentation & Systems, Valves, Analytical Instruments, SCADA, Instrument Servicing & Calibration, and Engineering Outsourcing.

Our control system solutions are widely used in general industries such as chemical & petrochemical, industrial gas, palm oil, food & beverage, water & wastewater, and oil & gas.

Role as Finance Manager (for Group Consolidation Reporting)

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager, particularly in consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with Bursa Malaysia's regulatory requirements. The role involves overseeing financial operations, managing consolidation processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the monthly consolidation of Group accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports in compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial results, including variance analysis.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of financial and management accounting records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal controls for financial reporting.
  • Oversee the Group’s financial reporting, taxation, and transfer pricing matters; liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Coordinate and prepare the Group’s annual budget.
  • Support corporate finance activities and strategic financial initiatives of the Group.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA).
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in group consolidation within a listed company and/or audit experience involving group consolidation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MFRS and group consolidation principles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
