The incumbent will be in Shared Service Team working together with both our Singapore and Malaysia staff on day-to-day basis. We are looking for incumbent that is motivated with positive learning attitude.
Job Responsibilities
Reports to Chief Finance Officer and supervise a team of finance staffs.
Review and monitor financial performance against budget.
Prepare / Review Management reports and budgets and provide financial analysis to Management/Board.
Review of quarterly GST Returns and annual tax filing.
Prepare annual audited financial statements.
Oversee the training and development of the Finance team to ensure each staff able to perform the tasks at an optimal level.
Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit and issuance of financial statements; bankers and tax consultants when required.
Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs for time to time.
Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy/ACCA, with minimum 6 years post qualification experience and at least 2 years in managerial position.
A member of MIA
Experience in Oracle Netsuite system is a plus.
Team player with strong communication and supervisory skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Meticulous with an ‘eye’ for details and able to work independently.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
