Job description

Company overview

We are working with a globally recognized FMCG based in Johor Bahru. With continued business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a hands-on and entrepreneurial Finance Manager. This role is important to help organize and support the team.

The new role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be involved in financial and management reporting for Group Consolidation, month-end closing, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and managing the year-end financial audit. You will be responsible for the preparation of the annual plan, cashflow reporting, variance analysis, and will be a key business partner to support business operations, providing insightful analysis and forecasting for new business initiatives and their effects on the balance sheet and P&L.

Requirements to succeed

The successful candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant certificate, with 5-8 years’ relevant work experience, ideally with a blend of external audit and operation management experiences. Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems as well as knowledge in MS Office will be an added advantage. You will have strong all-round experience in financial accounting and group reporting, with experience in cross-functional partnering and business improvement initiatives.
