PHARMASOLUTION SDN BHD seeks an experienced accounting leader to manage financial compliance and reporting for its Hong Kong entity. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, strategic decision support, and process improvements within the pharmaceutical industry. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant experience, and leadership skills, along with proficiency in SAP or Oracle.
· Lead all accounting, reporting, and tax compliance functions for the Hong Kong entity.
· Ensure adherence to Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and relevant local regulations.
· Manage month-end closings, statutory audits, and financial filings.
· Oversee annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Support pricing, product costing, and R&D finance specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
· Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and external advisors in Hong Kong.
· Collaborate with HQ functions in Malaysia for reporting and group consolidation.
· Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at senior levels.
· Drive process improvements and financial control enhancements across operations.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA / ACCA / HKICPA preferred.
· 5–10 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
· Previous experience working in a Hong Kong company is required.
· In-depth knowledge of HKFRS, Hong Kong tax laws, and corporate compliance.
· Background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is strongly preferred.
· Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel.
· Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
· Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
· Able to start immediately or on short notice.
Preferred Experience:
· Experience in pharmaceutical R&D accounting, government tender processes, or clinical trial budgeting.
· Exposure to multinational or regional reporting structures.
· Familiarity with transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and pharma inventory costing.
