Your ‘day to day’

You will be employed with Philip Morris Malaysia.

You will…

  • Report to the Regional Controller, be part of the overall regional team to consolidate, validate and prepare monthly P&L results, annual operational budgets, long range plans, rolling forecasts and quarterly projections, including analysis or variances and explanations of the related business issues for specific segment.
  • The processes include but not limited to shipment and IMS volumes, P&L and Balance Sheet, as well as total market segmentation and market shares.
  • Be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of business results, budgets, forecasts and actuals for the region. Analyze and interpret business data, identify gaps and evaluates to enable achievement of targets
  • Timely consolidate and analysis of actual monthly, quarterly and annual financials, as well as in market sales results for a specific segment with supporting team assistances
  • Validate and challenge proposals based on rationale and present findings to regional or corporate team members.
  • Coordinate with assigned markets for continuous update on business developments to pro-actively integrate related impact in the financial planning process. Provide advice to markets regarding costs and investment opportunities.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis to provide the Regional Management with up-to-date developments to support business decisions. Work closely with Commercial teams to monitor portfolio performance and identify and formulate commercial strategies. Co-Pilot with the business, including running projects.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance teams to translate global directions into regional and market strategies, and communicate up the chain on major business development in the region.

Who We’re Looking For

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 5-9 years of experience in multinational corporations with roles involving strong financial planning, business planning, controlling and/or analytical requirements
  • Result driven and able to work in a timely manner
  • Confidence in working with senior management and speaking up
  • Customer service oriented
  • High learning agility
  • Highly collaborative and a strong communicator (verbal and writing in English)
  • Strong excel and PPT technical skills
  • SAP and GMRB experience would be an advantage
