Job Description

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all group financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, yearly, consolidated, and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., SST/GST, withholding tax).
  • Finance Department Oversight & Team Leadership: Oversees the daily activities of the finance department, including supervising, leading, and coaching the team to ensure tasks are managed effectively.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manages the company's cash flow position and handles other related treasury matters.
  • Budgeting & Planning: Responsible for preparing and coordinating the annual budget process.
  • Internal Controls & Stakeholder Liaising: Implements and maintains effective internal controls and SOPs within the department, and serves as the key liaison with external parties such as auditors, bankers, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MIA) are an advantage.
  • Profound knowledge in consolidation and preparation of public listed company reports are needed.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting methods and data analysis.
