Job Description
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Finance Department.
  • Guarantee the preparation and submission of management accounts (monthly, quarterly, and yearly), group consolidations, and statutory financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by submitting SST/GST and withholding tax filings accurately and on time.
  • Maintain adherence to accounting standards, the Group’s financial policies, and legal requirements across all financial systems and documentation.
  • Oversee the finalization and timely submission of audited financial statements, tax returns, and other mandatory financial reports.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury-related functions.
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual budgeting process.
  • Establish and enforce strong internal controls and standardized procedures within the department.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external parties, including auditors, bankers, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to the finance team to ensure efficient task execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Have professional certificates eg. CPA, ACCA, MIA are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in finance. Candidates with audit experience or with work experience in public listed companies or with management or supervisory experience are an advantage.
  • Able to prepare group consolidation financial reports
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project teams.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Navision is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
