Job description

The Finance Manager for AEON Living Zone (“ALZ”) is responsible for overseeing and supporting all financial aspects of ALZ. This includes ensuring effective financial coordination for the joint venture company (JV Co.) with the Investment Companies, timely and accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making within ALZ and across related AEON entities.

1. Oversee and ensure timely reconciliation for loyalty point transactions within the business.
2. Ensure all expenses related to ALZ, including accruals, prepayments, and capitalized assets, are recognized accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Supervise and review month-end account closing activities; analyze significant variances and provide insights.
4. Ensure periodical financial closings, reports, and ledger reconciliations are completed accurately and reviewed promptly.
5. Support stakeholders by providing financial analysis, recommendations, and problem-solving as required.
6. Maintain financial records in full compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
7. Liaise closely with internal and external auditors, supporting audit readiness and resolution of audit queries.
8. Ensure compliance with group financial policies and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
