Job Summary:
FC-BIOS is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Finance Manager to join our growing team. This individual will not only manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company but will also play a crucial role in budgeting and costing analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance management and be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost assessments and pricing strategies that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct variance analysis and recommend strategies for improving financial performance.
Provide detailed financial reports to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
2. Costing Analysis:
Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget constraints.
Track project costs throughout the lifecycle and provide reports to stakeholders regarding financial performance against budget.
Assist in cost control and monitoring of project profitability, offering insights and recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
3. Cash Flow & Risk Management:
Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company’s financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
Identify financial risks and work proactively to mitigate them.
Assist in the development of financial models to predict future financial performance and support decision-making.
4. Compliance & Process Improvement:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and financial reporting standards.
Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Drive process improvements and implement automation to increase operational efficiency.
Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Work closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and supply chain, to ensure financial alignment and operational efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as an Assistant Finance Manager, Finance Manager, or in a similar role with responsibilities in financial planning, costing, budgeting, and team management.
Hands-on experience in preparing full set of accounts is a MUST.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and departments.
Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced in Excel skills.
Familiar with using Oracle Netsuite will be an added advantage.

We house a dedicated team of sales, technical support, and service engineers with a fully equipped training laboratory serving customers located in East & West Malaysia.
The Cold Chain Division started its operation in 2006 with its first project to replace an aged analogue centralized temperature monitoring system at the Blood Bank of University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) which is still today operating after 14 years. We’ve since then since grown to over 1500 installed sites across Malaysia which utilize our Real Time IoT systems, encompassing Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals, and major cold chain storage sites. Our team is currently playing fundamental role in COVID-19 Vaccine storage within Malaysia.
