Job description

MRCA is one of Malaysia’s most dynamic business associations with over 500 member companies representing more than 30,000 retail outlets throughout Malaysia. It has a history of over 30 years and seeks to recruit a Finance Manager to elevate the association's financial management and administrative functions.

The Finance Manager will assist with overall accounts, administrative functions, activities, and events of the association.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts
• Prepare budgets & forecasts
• Maintain event collection records
• Handle financial data & cash flow management
• Liaise with banks and prepare bank letters
• Manage petty cash
• Oversee quarterly accounts for divisions & pillars
• Provide backup support to the Accounts Assistant

Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification; membership in ACCA, MIA, MICPA, or ASCPA is preferred
• Good communication and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Initiative, result-oriented attitude
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Immediate availability or short notice period
