Overview

FC-Bios is seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day finance operations and manage the full spectrum of financial and management accounting, covering statutory reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, cost analysis, and strategic pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of hands-on financial expertise and strategic thinking to drive business performance and ensure compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting, enhance cost efficiency, and align financial strategies with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage full set of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct variance analysis and profitability reviews.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
  • Provide detailed financial and performance reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Costing & Project Analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimations for projects or product lines.
  • Monitor and analyze actual project or operational costs versus budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance margins.
Cash Flow & Risk Management
  • Oversee cash flow planning, treasury functions, and liquidity management.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess the company’s financial health and growth potential.
Compliance & Process Optimization
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and external audit requirements.
  • Drive finance process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team to ensure timely delivery of finance outputs and professional development.
  • Partner with departments such as Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to align financial planning with business objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative culture across teams to support overall company goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing a finance team.
  • Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite is preferred.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, costing, and team management.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing full set of accounts is a MUST.
  • Strong command of both financial and management accounting, with solid experience in costing and pricing analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, guide, and motivate team members.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • A strategic thinker who can translate financial data into actionable business insights.
