Finance Manager

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the Operational Finance team, managing functions such as General Ledger (GL), Costing, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Treasury.
  • Oversee the team and support the CFO in ensuring the seamless operation of the Finance department within the Manufacturing business segment.
  • Handle group consolidation of a few companies at a group level.
  • Develop and execute budgets and forecasts.
  • Compile and present financial reports to management and the board of directors.
  • Supervise the accounting team to ensure the precision of financial records.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure the company has adequate funds to meet its obligations and support expansion initiatives.
  • Establish and implement internal controls and policies to protect the company’s assets.
  • Prepare management and financial reports in compliance with the accounting standards adopted by the company.
  • Examine financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and uncover opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial performance.
  • Act as a liaison with stakeholders including external auditors, internal auditors, the company secretary, bankers, and legal advisors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related field or possess at least a professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / CIMA / ICAEW / MICPA etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in external audit or commercial accounting role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry along with team management skills.
  • Proficient in Mandarin is a bonus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong command of English, with a diligent, proactive, and optimistic approach.
  • Analytical and skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and a positive attitude.
  • Enjoys teamwork, is outspoken, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
