Job description

Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Group Operations & Finance, you are responsible for leading the finance team, overseeing financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, financial reporting, and financial control. Your expertise will be essential in supporting strategic decisions, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and undertake bookkeeping and periodic accounting activities (mainly on AR and GL) of the companies, ensuring timely reporting and proactive in addressing financial issues.
  2. Assist in the compilation, tracking, and analysis of projects for management reporting. Plan and monitor entity billing forecasts.
  3. Support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing management reports.
  4. Support taxation matters, coordinate and liaise with tax agents on tax-related issues, and participate as a key member in the tax preparation process of the companies.
  5. Assist and liaise with external auditors on yearly audit preparations.
  6. Manage periodic financial reporting for companies within the Group, including subsidiaries and related companies, providing accurate and timely financial results for consolidation (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and supporting group financial reporting requirements.
  7. Coordinate with government agencies on licensing matters.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  2. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
  3. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  4. Preferably with some audit experience.
  5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong sense of urgency.
  6. Experience in a supervisory or management role is advantageous.
  7. Proficient in utilizing office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
