RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Oversee the day-to-day finance operations, manage budgets, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the management team.

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for the group and individual subsidiaries.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting, tax standards, and regulatory requirements, including transfer pricing regulations.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with external professionals such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, underwriters, lawyers, and regulatory bodies on financial decisions.
• Monitor and control accounts receivables (AR) and accounts payables (AP), ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Manage and recommend strategies to mitigate cash flow risks, including forecasting future cash needs and optimizing working capital.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Develop and manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to develop forecasts and initiatives for revenue growth and cost control.
• Implement and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead and develop the finance team through guidance and coaching, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background & Major:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accountancy, ACCA, CA, CFA, MIA, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in finance management.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is an advantage.

Working Hours & Off Days:

• Monday to Friday
