Job description

The Finance Manager undertakes all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. The Finance Manager's responsibilities will also include financial risk management, including but not limited to managing of DSO, Inventory control management, procurement and cost controlling. The Finance Manager will also lead a team of approx. 12-15 staff (direct/indirect reporting).

Responsibilities

  1. Manage all accounting and financial operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Consolidation, Cost Management, Inventory Management, Revenue Recognition and Risk Management
  2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  3. Ensure timely submission of monthly financial statements and management reports to HQ
  4. Ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting
  5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  6. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  7. Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings
  8. Ensure financial activities and transactions are aligned with HQ’s objective
  9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Requirements

  1. Minimum 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience (AR, AP, GL, and operational finance) in a company with >300 headcounts
  2. Proven working experience as a Finance Manager managing a team of approx. 10 headcounts
  3. Experience as an auditor in a Big Four audit firm will be an added advantage
  4. Advanced degree in Accounting (CPA or ACCA preferred)
  5. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  6. Experience as a business partner to the commercial and operations team
  7. Excellent accounting software user and Excel skills
  8. Ability to adapt and work with a range of stakeholders
