Job description

1. Manage all finance and accounting operations for Toyo Ventures Holdings Berhad (TVHB) Group of Companies.

2. Lead, manage, and direct all aspects of financial management and reporting of the Group, including financial reporting, budgeting, profit and cash flow forecasting, taxation, legal compliance, investor relations, and risk management, to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.

3. Review and analyze the current organizational operations of the Group to identify opportunities for process improvements and system automation to enhance efficiency.

4. Present financial status to the Board of Directors by developing forecasts, reporting actual results, analyzing variances, and proposing improvements. Collaborate with department heads to improve cost management, credit, and budget controls, ensuring timely development and tracking of business plans, budgets, and forecasts.

5. Develop and implement policies and procedures focusing on internal controls and risk management, proposing mitigation strategies as needed.

6. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, and statutory bodies regarding audit, tax, banking, and legal matters.

7. Manage corporate transactions involving shareholders agreements, asset and share transfers, dividend-in-specie, tax planning, and debt recovery.

8. Establish a Risk Management framework to minimize business risks and liabilities, including internal controls, information security, credit controls, and insurance coverage.

9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director, Management Board, or Board of Directors.
