Degree in Accounting/Finance/Taxation or other accounting related fields.
At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably someone with previous experience in a construction firm.
Good technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Independent, self-disciplined, and self-motivated.
Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Good financial reporting skills that are timely, accurate, and concise.
Hands-on, with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
Familiar with Microsoft Office and SQL accounting software.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Handling full set of accounts, directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, cash flow, budgeting, bank reconciliation, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Analyzing company's financial results concerning profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issuing regular financial status reports to senior management.
- Providing strategic guidance on capital financing options to support company growth.
- Developing and maintaining necessary accounting policies and systems, including the general ledger and financial reporting, ensuring records are maintained according to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Collaborating with team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and defining appropriate reports for tracking.
- Managing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Managing and coordinating tax schedules, returns, and related information.
- Managing all tax planning and ensuring compliance with government, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
