Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of finance, accounting, and corporate support, including planning, organizing, supervising, and monitoring the accounts and finance department.

Oversee the finance reporting and operations activities of the group of companies in both local and overseas markets.

Responsible for preparing the Group consolidation financial statements and reviewing subsidiaries and related companies’ financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness in accordance with Group policies, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Direct the preparation of Management Reports, Project P&L, Cash Flow Projections, Periodical Variance Analyses, Annual Budget, and other financial reports required by top management.

Support project financing activities, coordinate with departments and bankers to gather financing information, prepare financing plans, cash flows, and related documents to ensure smooth application and drawdown processes.

Coordinate and monitor project financing terms, payment schedules, and identify opportunities to minimize financial costs.

Control and monitor intercompany transactions and balances, trade and non-trade (AR & AP) transactions, and group cash flow matters.

Manage and review tax compliance processes, including tax estimation, computation, and responding to income tax inquiries.

Schedule and ensure the timely completion of Group Statutory Audits and regulatory filings.

Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, solicitors, and government officers to maintain good relationships.

Ensure internal controls on financial and management operations, business processes, and systems comply with Group policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.

Undertake special assignments, ad hoc functions, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience.

Hands-on experience in group consolidation accounting.

Preferably experience in construction accounting and engineering construction industry.

Experience in corporate finance, due diligence, and listed companies is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (e.g., IFCA, Oracle, SAP).

Strong communication and supervisory skills, team player, flexible, and adaptable.
