Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or a Professional Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional qualification such as CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ MICPA
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, with emphasis on Mandarin communication skills for client interaction
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Knowledge of e-invoicing is an advantage
  • Experience in manufacturing industry or listed companies
  • Ability to travel as required
Responsibilities:
  1. Review and manage full set of management accounts, including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and variance analysis
  2. Handle tax matters, including computations, returns, estimates, and timely filings of SST and e-invoices, ensuring compliance with legislation
  3. Improve and advise on management and analysis reports
  4. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, banks, and authorities
  5. Enhance financial and management reporting systems, internal controls, policies, and procedures
  6. Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity
  7. Collaborate with operations on budgeting, financial analysis, tax planning, and cost-saving initiatives
  8. Stay updated on accounting, tax, and e-invoicing regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  9. Review quarterly and annual reports, including consolidated accounts and annual reports
  10. Support ad hoc projects and initiatives
