Finance Manager

Job Type - Fixed Term Contract until 30th April 2028

Location: Hybrid (Kuala Lumpur office 2 days a week)

Cognition Learning Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager. The role will be responsible for supporting the finance function of the Group, focusing on timely preparation and consolidating financial reports, manage budgets/forecasts, audit coordination.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of financial records, including but not limited to invoice & payment processing, cash management, revenue recognition etc.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Manage the annual budget and forecasting process.
  • Prepare and consolidate group management reports for board reporting
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for financial improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage internal and external audits

To be considered you will:

  • 4 years of relevant experience, preferably from audit and commercial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Financial and management accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office, excellent organizational and communication skills .
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial software.
