Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. This role is designed for a finance professional with a diverse background, including investment banking, business development, and a deep understanding of finance, accounting, and tax. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also supporting new project feasibility and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and statutory reports.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets.

2. Investment Banking & Business Development:
• Leverage investment banking experience to support strategic financial initiatives, including capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business development and startup ventures, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and financial modeling.

3. Financial Analysis & Feasibility:
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate the feasibility of new projects, including ROI, NPV, and risk assessments.
• Provide recommendations based on financial data analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

4. Accounting & Tax Management:
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Work closely with auditors to ensure successful completion of audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that annual returns are filed accurately and on time, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

5. Strategic Financial Planning:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.

6. Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on complex financial issues and projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly desirable.
• 5-8 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in investment banking, business development, and financial management.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and project feasibility assessments.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
