• Oversees the financial management and reporting activities of the company.
• Manage full set of accounts, intercompany reconciliation, and audit schedules.
• Timely account closing for multiple entities in different industries.
• Budget monitoring, forecasting, and support individual Business Unit/entities in finance-related matters.
• Perform companies' cash flow and treasury management.
• Liaise with corporate tax agent and review tax computation prepared by tax agents.
• Management of budget, forecast/reforecast, variance reporting & commentaries.
• Prepare management report and attend management meetings.
• Liaise with external auditors/tax agents and stakeholders for financial year closing & reporting.
• Supervise a group of accounts staff.
• Initiate continuous improvement e.g. accuracy and efficiency, internal control, cost control/saving, tax saving, accounting process and procedures, management and financial analysis report, workflow, documentation of accounting records, filing, etc.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
• Minimum above 5 years related experience.
• Preferably has experience in the Healthcare (Hospital) industry.
• Timeliness, keeping records up to date, ensuring accuracy & completeness.
• Candidate with a growth mindset and eager to learn new skill sets.
• Must be self-motivating, capable of working independently, and have initiative with a sense of urgency.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills and is able to work with people from different levels.
