Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the finance operations of multiple business segments within the Group. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial and management reporting, effective group consolidation, and robust compliance with audit and tax requirements. The Finance Manager will also drive improvements in internal controls and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Group and its business units.

Coordinate and review management reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for business decision-making.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Group accounting policies.

Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with accounting standards.

Responsible for finance operations of property development, construction and new business segments of the Group and its subsidiaries, associates and any joint ventures.

Manage cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for timely payments and operational needs.

Audit & Tax Management

Coordinate annual statutory audits for the Group and subsidiaries, ensuring timely audit completion.

Serve as key liaison with external auditors and tax agents.

Review and ensure accuracy of corporate tax computations and filings.

Monitor developments in tax regulations and assess their impact on the Group.

Internal Controls & Process Improvements

Review and recommend enhancements to internal financial controls and standard operating procedures.

Identify risks, inefficiencies, and gaps in financial processes and implement effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and public company governance standards.

Special Finance Projects

Responsible for system improvement and new regulations that impact finance operations.

Support business development and investment evaluation by providing financial feasibility analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Professional qualification is an added advantage.

Minimum 7 years of relevant finance experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role. Preferably from property development industry.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, group consolidation, and audit processes.

Solid understanding of tax compliance and statutory requirements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in accounting system and advanced Excel proficiency.

High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
