Job description

We are looking for a meticulous and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, reporting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong leadership skills to manage a finance team and support executive decision-making. This role is key in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, treasury activities, and fund management.

Conduct financial analyses to assess current and projected company performance.

Prepare and interpret financial reports, offering insights and recommendations to management.

Lead the accounts department, set goals, and develop frameworks to achieve them.

Manage operational expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity needs.

Develop and enforce policies related to debt collection and inventory control.

Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business strategy.

Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.

Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries.

Implement and maintain financial systems, policies, and internal controls.

Oversee full accounting operations: P&L, balance sheet, AR/AP, reconciliations, and reporting.

Manage and mentor the accounts team, assign projects, and ensure timely, accurate work.

Lead and coordinate annual audits and statutory reporting.

Establish and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project costs, construction progress, quality control, and compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred).

Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting/finance with at least 2 years prior in a managerial role.

Strong command of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.

Ability to develop and manage budgets and forecast future financial performance.

Excellent interpersonal abilities and communication skills in both written and verbal to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
